Anna Kirstine Jørgensen joins Berzins Lab

We are happy to welcome Anna Kirstine Jørgensen as a postdoctoral researcher in Berzins Lab.

Welcome, Anna

Anna has a background in pharmaceutical sciences and technology, with experience in 3D printing of oral dosage forms, near-infrared and Raman spectroscopy, chemometrics and quantitative chemical analysis.

In Berzins Lab, she will develop tailored chemometric and machine learning algorithms and toolboxes that are compatible with low-frequency vibrational techniques. Her work will support applications spanning small-molecule pharmaceutical materials, lipids and macromolecular systems, with a focus on characterization and predictive modelling.

Anna also brings formulation and preformulation experience from industry and start-up environments in the UK. This combination of formulation science, spectroscopy and data analysis will strengthen the group’s work at the interface of pharmaceutical materials and data-driven interpretation.

Anna joined the group in July 2026.
