We welcome enquiries from motivated students and researchers who want to work across pharmaceutical sciences, spectroscopy, computational modelling and data-driven analysis. The group is interdisciplinary, and relevant backgrounds may include pharmacy, chemistry, physics, materials science, mathematics, engineering, computer science or related fields.

PhD students and postdocs

We are interested in supporting early-career researchers who want to develop at the interface of pharmaceutical materials research, spectroscopy and quantitative analysis. Projects may involve complex formulation systems, macromolecular or lipid/polymer-based materials, multimodal Raman/Brillouin measurements, computational modelling, or machine learning for linking spectroscopic signatures to material behaviour and performance.

MSc, exchange and scholarship students

We welcome enquiries from students interested in pharmaceutical materials, drug delivery systems, spectroscopy and data-driven analysis. Projects may involve lipid-based or polymer-based materials, Raman/Brillouin measurements, spectroscopic data analysis, machine learning, or computational interpretation of material behaviour.

Potential projects depend on timing, supervision capacity and the available experimental or computational tasks. Students are welcome to get in touch with a short description of their background, interests and the type of project they are looking for.
