Julius Bjerager joins the lab

We are happy to welcome Julius Bjerager as a master’s student. Julius will work on machine-learning-assisted denoising algorithms for low-frequency vibrational spectroscopy, with the aim of reducing acquisition time while preserving analytically useful spectral information.

The project will explore applications where faster acquisition can improve routine compositional characterization, as well as time-constrained measurements such as spectroscopic mapping where recording a high-quality spectrum at every point may not be practical.

Welcome to the group, Julius!

Anna Kirstine Jørgensen joins the lab

We are happy to welcome Anna Kirstine Jørgensen as a postdoctoral researcher. Anna will develop tailored chemometric and machine learning algorithms and toolboxes for low-frequency vibrational spectroscopy, supporting applications from small molecules to lipids and macromolecular pharmaceutical systems.

Her background combines pharmaceutical sciences and technology, 3D printing of oral dosage forms, near-infrared and Raman spectroscopy, chemometrics, quantitative chemical analysis, and formulation development experience from academic, industry and start-up environments.

Welcome to the group, Anna!

Aditya has joined the lab

We are happy to welcome Aditya Govind Shiddapur as a PhD fellow. Aditya will work on spectroscopic and data-driven approaches for studying pharmaceutical materials, with a focus on polymeric drug delivery systems, sample history and structure–property relationships.

Welcome to the group, Aditya!
